Specialized Stumpjumper 15

Versatile, smooth, and customizable the Specialized Stumpjumper 15 is the 15th iteration of the model that started it all in ’81. This latest model replaces both the Stumpjumper and Stumpjumper EVO with one platform built for every type of riding.

Frame
The Stumpjumper 15 features a full carbon frame engineered for stiffness and weight reduction. It’s built to handle aggressive terrain without sacrificing pedal efficiency or ride quality. Internal cable routing and refined geometry give the frame a clean look and responsive feel on the trail.

Wheels
All Stumpjumper 15 models are compatible with either a 27.5″ or 29″ rear wheel, to optimizing for eating bumps or being extra nimble.

Suspension
The new Genie shock is the result of a collaboration between Fox and Specialized. It’s an air shock with a unique two-chamber design, allowing riders to use the whole shock while also reducing bottom outs. In the first 70% of travel, both the inner and outer air chambers are active, creating a large air volume that delivers a plush, coil-like feel. This allows riders to use more travel while maintaining traction and control. In the final 30% of travel, the outer chamber closes off, reducing air volume to increase progression and reduce bottom-outs.
