Athlete Series: Gravity focused trails that you should definitely check out by Walker Bender

The Teton mountain range in Wyoming has some amazing mountain biking. I want to share some of my favorite gravity focused trails that you should definitely check out if you are in the area.

Teton Pass
The Teton Pass downhill trail system has an incredible variety of steep and technical trails, so fast and flowy trails with a ton of perfectly built jumps. The trails can be accessed by pedalling up the Old Pass Road or by sticking your thumb out at the Stagecoach in Wilson . I have been riding there for 5 years, and it never gets old. The trails are always kept in tip-top condition, and there are new features being built all the time. My favorite trail on Teton Pass is Parallel, a flow trail with lots of jumps and berms. There are options to go around all the features, and it is a fairly easy trail to ride.

Jackson Hole Mountain Resort Bike Park (JHMR) is another super fun spot to ride. They have a great selection of trails for beginners and advanced riders. Everything is lift serviced so you can get a ton of vert in a day. One of my favorite trails at JHMR is Deepest Darkest. It is a high-speed flow trail with huge berms. It’s so fun to lap all day and never gets old. Another trail I love is Deerjump, the top is a flow trail that transitions to a big jumpline at the bottom. It has the biggest jumps around these parts, and they are very smooth and easy to hit all in a row.
